A set of headpieces built entirely from things meant to be eaten — not worn.
Context
The brief, self-set, was simple to state and harder to do: take cooking products — the kind meant to be consumed and gone within minutes — and use them as material for something meant to last long enough to photograph, if not to wear.
Approach
Cookies, dough, meringue, caramel, and food ink were treated as sculptural materials rather than food — shaped, hardened, and built into wearable headpieces, then staged and directed in a photoshoot built specifically to make the material read as regal rather than edible.
Outcome
The result sits outside any single discipline — part material experiment, part art direction, part styling — and stands as evidence of a working method: given any material, however unlikely, it becomes possible to find a form in it.
