COITUS SECRETUM
“ This boosts the need for the next one, leading to a more pleasant and regretless finale when superficial efficiency is used: free of commitments, prejudgments and objections. It turns on and off at the user’s whim. Sexuality, then, is a process where the next one will always replace the one before without further ado. ”

Coitus Secretum stems from personal dissatisfaction with sexual consumerism and an interest in challenging the mental boundaries formed by social repressions regarding individual sexual choice. It proposes a suggestive game where the observer is free to make associations related to sexuality, utilizing everyday discourse and creative processes to focus on sexual perception derived from repressed desires.
The initial visual composition serves as a starting point for the observer to attribute new meanings. The observer reframes the exhibited object and formulates a new sexual discourse through interaction with initially explicit images, which gradually decrease in explicitness as the visual narrative progresses. This approach uses metonymy and visual rhetoric to intensify the meaning attached to everyday objects.
Ultimately, this project results in a photo series and an editorial product that reflects on sexual consumerism, featuring confessions, confidences, a night story, and sexually suggestive visual compositions.
